Time for Your Recertification
The USATF requires Certified Officials to recertify each Olympiad, the four-year period between the Olympic Games. Current Certified Officials can start the recertification process for the 2025-2028 Olympiad immediately, although some steps cannot be completed until November 1 or after. Officials have until March 31, 2025 to become recertified, but the NOC encourages officials to complete all the recertification requirements by December 31, 2024.
Officials who certified for the first time during 2024 are certified through 2028; they do not need to submit a Recertification Application Form or take another rules review. However, they must satisfy all other requirements listed in this article.
